He provides the best care to all his patients and wants them involved in every decision about their healthcare.

Dan Smith is a Nurse Practitioner with the Silverton Community Care group. He initially attended Utah Valley University, earning an associate degree in nursing and beginning his career in the operating room.

Dan then completed his bachelor’s degree in nursing and became a nurse educator where he trained new nurses, orderlies, and scrub techs. After five years as a nurse educator, he left the operating room to work in same-day surgery helping patients recover after surgery. He completed his Nurse Practitioner Degree at Brigham Young University in August 2019.

Dan is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He and his wife live in American Fork with their three children. He enjoys road cycling, traveling, and spending time with his family.
